The main medical project in Ural region dedicated to maternity and child protection combines a unique scientific Conference of obstetricians and gynecologists and business exhibition for main producers and distributors of pharmaceutical drugs, medical and diagnostic facilities and alongside goods for new-born children, pregnant and nursing women.

The project is a sound exhibition event aimed at developing market for medical facilities and pharmaceuticals.

FGU “Ural Scientific and Research Institute of Maternity and Child Protection of Rosmedtechnologies” conducts the summarizing scientific session dedicated to the 25-year anniversary of the department of obstetrics and gynecologyof the Ural State Medical Academy.

The scientific Congress with International participation for specialists in obstetrics, genecology, perinatology, neonatology and pediatrics took place in 2009 for the first time. The scientific part of the event took place in three conference halls and brought together over 1450 delegates from Russia and CIS. The scientific theses were prepared by 300 reporters, including the leading specialists in obstetrics: Serov V.N., academician of RAMN, president of the Russian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, professor Radzinsky V.E., professor Prilepskaya, V.N., professor Kira E.F., professor Balan V.E., professor Makatsariya A.D., the director of the Institute of the Family Health of Vartapetova N.V. and others.

The honored guests of the Congress were Dr. Richard Waldman, the President of the American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society, Dr. Jack Sobel, Dr. Theo Lippeveld, and Elaine Milkarsky, the board of directors’ member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.

The specialized Exhibition CHILD AND MOTHER and associated Conference “The Summarizing Scientific Session of the Ural Scientific and Research Institute of Maternity and Child Protection and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Ural State Medical Academy, Dedicated to the 25-year Anniversary of the Department”, will take place on December 7-9, 2010 in Ekaterinburg.
